Last week ZERO Automotive hosted Nigel Fox, Andrew McCulloch and Lucy Daly at our facility in Edwardstown. We were able to discuss the support that HPD can provide in speedy turnaround of fabricated items, and the roles of the two ZERO workshops – R&D/Fabrication and Assembly. This was followed by a test drive up into the Adelaide Hills of OZ Mineral’s next vehicle VE002, which will be the first ZERO Automotive vehicle to incorporate dual charging through the CCS Combo 2 connection, including DC rapid charging. It wasn’t a bad place to take in the view and discuss the opportunities for battery electric Light Vehicles in OZ Mineral’s mining operations – a great afternoon indeed!
