Australian Design Rules (ADR) approved, means the ZED70 Ti is permitted to be driven on public roads. ADR provides operators with assurance that the vehicle meets Australian safety standards.

LTO

Lithium Titanate (Li2TiO3) — LTO

LTO batteries have very high level of safety and high power but are less energy dense. These cells have exceptional life cycle performance and do not degrade excessively when exposed to fast charging.

The LTO battery in the ZED70 Ti consists of individual 23Ah LTO cells combined into modules which provide a voltage of 330V, providing a capacity of 60kWh.

Safety by Design

In 2020, ZERO Automotive partnered with OZ Minerals and the Adelaide Metropolitain Fire Brigade to test and validate the LTO battery manufacturer’s claim of safety and stability and compared it to other common battery technologies within stressful environments.
